Thinking of joining our choir?
Our rehearsals for the 2024/25 season commence on the 9th September 2024 at 7.45pm. This is a great time for new members to join in and meet the group. We will be starting rehearsals for our Autumn Concert planned for the 16th November 2024. We are always delighted to welcome new members, whether you’re a soprano, alto, tenor but especially if you are a bass!Come along for a couple of Monday evening rehearsals (with no obligation). We'll lend you the relevant music scores and you can join in to find out if you like what you see and hear!

.jpg) Our season starts in early September and runs through to mid-June the following year.The annual membership subscription for the 2024/25 season is £130. This can be paid in full at the season start, or in two £65 payments, the second being due in January 2025 This subscription includes provision of the music scores used for our concert programmes,. Also, the Society covers the fees for our participation in the annual Petersfield Musical Festival; there is no additional cost for members. For those new members who join the Society during the season a pro-rata membership fee is charged based on the duration of the remaining season. |
No Auditions… but Practice |
 We do not audition new recruits; the emphasis is on inclusivity and enjoyment. However, we do of course value the ability to sing in tune! Some ability to read music is also an advantage. Once you’ve joined, we like members to commit to attend rehearsals regularly.Home practice is also required, which is facilitated, for most of the works we sing, by the availability of individual practice voice parts to download from the internet |
